We’re proud to have a network of over 500 Official Supporters Clubs worldwide, one of the largest of its kind in European Football. Each group’s support is seen, heard and recognised across 100 different countries that make up our worldwide community.

There’s nothing like the atmosphere in a room when an Official Supporters Club gets together for match day. Events are the beating heart of Supporters Clubs, so please ensure that the meeting location and details are displayed correctly on your Club’s page.

Your Official Supporters Club page is your local area’s go-to hub, the page gives fans everything they need to know from contact info, social media handles to how to join or attend a match day screening.

Find new fans

  • Nearby fans will be able to find your club using the map in The 5th Stand mobile app
  • Physical events are so important for Supporters Clubs – share your meeting location and display it on your page!

A Hub for your members

  • All of your Supporters Club information is visible – so ensure you keep it up to date
  • Invite your friends to join your club. They can use the ‘JOIN THIS CLUB’ button at the bottom of the page.

Create your community

  • There are three tabs on your Supporters Club’s page: Info, Chat and Members.
  • Use the new ‘Chat’ function to connect with members.
  • Your members details (including email address) are viewable in the online Member Lookup Tool, so that you can easily communicate with them.

Everyone, Everywhere

  • Club Secretaries can keep fans up-to date by posting announcements to all their members.
  • To post announcements, in your Supporters Club ‘Chat’ room on the 5th Stand App, start your message with ‘@announce’ before you type.
  • When an announcement is posted by the Club Secretary, all members of the club will receive a push notification alerting them to it - so use it sparingly and only when needed!

  • Use your Social Media pages to communicate to your members
  • Organise your own screenings and events

Leading the pack

However big or small your Supporters Club, members will be looking to you to: Define a vision everyone can get on board with, Reward and recognise key players, Delegate roles and empower people, Communicate effectively and forge strong relationships.

Making a success of your screenings

Events bring your Supporters Club to life (especially when they’re a hit with your members), so you’ll want to get it right: Choose a regular meeting venue - it can be as low key as a pub or coffee shop. Keep communication open with the managers of the venue location. Promote the event to your members by social media, The 5th Stand App ‘Chat’ or email (we’re not fussy). Follow up after the event, asking for constructive feedback and ensuring attendees are signed up to the Supporters Club page.

Growing your online community

It’s never been easier to stay connected - and show potential recruits what they’re missing. Remember, you’re representing Chelsea FC. Keep online antics safe and inclusive: Don’t post vulgar or offensive comments or use the page to promote commercial or political messages. If you want to keep the group closed, you can set the page to ‘invite only’. Keep on top of your community by filtering out any negative content, or people you don’t know.

Getting data savvy

We all know that data means privacy, and protecting the information of your members is paramount.

  • Do not use the people’s info for any reason than Official Supporters Clubs matters
  • Don’t share any personal data with sources you don‘t trust
  • Beware of phishing emails, scams or using any unsecure public WiFi
  • Don’t store email data outside of the Membership Look-up tool - it is kept safe and updated there!

No, entry to join an Official Supporters Club is always free. Only if the new member wants to be included in accessing Ticketing will they be charged a small fee. If you would like more information about becoming a Ticketing supporters club, then please contact scticketapp@chelseafc.com

Trick question - there’s no such thing (yet). All resources are available through our webpages, but email us if you’re after something specific.

Email us and we’ll see what we can do. We think long-standing Club Secretaries work best for community’s sake, but we also get that things change - and new faces are always welcome.

Across the East and West Stands, there is limited space for just over 60 banners of Official Supporters Clubs around the world. Before each season, we repair banners and seek out new opportunities for Supporters Clubs. There’s limited space, and our longest established Clubs get priority, but we try our best to give everyone their moment in the spotlight.

Our social media agencies keep an eye out for content that goes against our guidelines, but if you have any doubts, email us and we’ll resolve it. You’ll be kept totally anonymous.

You can opt-in to the Ticketing scheme for a £100 fixed fee. To qualify for a Ticketing Level to then access the tickets, you’ll need a certain number of season ticket holders and paid members in your Club. Email scaticketapp@chelseafc.com to find out more.
